Onimusha

Onimusha is a short 8 episode series. All 8 concise and keeping you engaged throughout. One of the few anime series without too much fluff to keep the story advancing with each episode. I never felt that there was a dull moment in the series.

Without revealing too much it is a story of a for hire swordsmen who with the help of a gauntlet takes on an undead uprising.

I enjoyed the art style and animation.

It is not often I stick around for the opening and ending credits in a series, attributed to the eerie music which kept me from clicking the “skip” button. Another nice touch was the art at the end of the episodes.

After a long time I have binged watch an anime series. Which means, Onimusha enters my list of favorite animes.
