I got a bike!!!
I know boring right? Not really! I am actually super excited about it! My wife and myself have been thinking about activities we could possibly indulge in together and what better way than biking.
Kent 700C
The moment we decided that we were going to buy bikes. I got into the zone of researching and looking at a lot of good - high end bikes. I was visiting forums and reading blog posts to find out what the enthusiasts were driving.
Turns out that enthusiasts bike are costly! They could range from $400 all the way upto 5k. There are costlier bikes but lets not go there.
Because it was a new found interest I didn’t want to go overboard and get a pricey bike. I went down to local bike stores and it turned out that they also don’t have too many good1 bikes.
Walmart has a decent collection of bikes at a reasonable2 price! After spending about 20 minutes going through their collection I found my perfect bike.
Kent 700C
It is a road bike with 7 gears. 21 speed drivetrain with Shimano rear deraileur.
The thing that I like the most about this bike is its looks obviously and also the fact that there are 2 sets of brakes one that you can use in regular position and another pair when you are driving in drop position. This is something I didn’t find in a lot of other bikes at Walmart.
One of the reasons I found out why lot of people don’t like buying bikes from Walmart is because they complaint about the assembly. Well, if that is indeed the case then I lucked out because it has been about a month and I have had no issues with my bike. kocks wood
All in all I really happy with this bike! I would certainly suggest this bike to anyone who is like me: want to get into biking but don’t want to spend a lot of money just yet!The green bike on the right is mine and to the left is my wife’s.
