I made the decision, I have purchased the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition.
I was on the fence on whether to get the signature edition, but I decided to get it mainly for the 32G option. But beyond that I think there is a really good deal that I got.
I traded my PW 7th edition and got $25 for it, along with which amazon offered 20% towards new kindle. On top of that there is another offer going on which gives additional 15% off Kindle PW. So net with tax the new Kindle PW signature edition came out to around $110, which I think is a really good deal for a device that would serve me good for next couple of years. And USB-C charging is starting to become a necessity for me on all my tech. I want to slowly phase out all non usb-c devices from my wire life :D.
I have to however wait till April 3rd to get my hands on the device. Wonder why it takes so long to ship the device. But at this price I think I can wait as I still have another PW 7th edition which is serving me well for my reading needs.
