I’ve been catching up with a lot of series and movies recently. Here are the ratings for the ones I watched:
Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse - 2.5/5 Malayalam movies in recent times (the good ones) have set a very high standard for me. Perhaps I shouldn’t have set this movie up to those expectations. Malayalam detective + Mammootty + GVM — I couldn’t help myself but set the bar high, but it was underwhelming.
Padakkalam - 3.75/5 An unusual supernatural story, but it was done well.
Aan Paavam Pollathathu - 3/5 Almost all the comedy scenes in this movie I had already seen in some form as Instagram reels. 😄
Dude - 2/5 Pradeep’s stereotypical acting with an unethical storyline, attempting to shed light on the prevalence of caste-based issues.
Aaryan - 3/5
I also watched Sivaji and Baasha because I wanted to see if I still enjoyed these movies. And yes, I still love them. Thalaivar mass, max! 😎
