Annual sick week
It has now become a pattern that my body seems to be exhibiting. Every year I get sick badly to the point that I am forced into bed rest. Body pain, headache, chills. No it wasn’t Covid-19 or FLU - tested negative for both.
A repeated pattern stands to be a reminder that I should probably not be waiting for my body to remind me to give it a break.
And if my body giving me signs weren’t enough, a recent article on : medium scared the living shit out of me.
Reminder to:
- Take holidays
- You aren’t the cog that keeps the company moving - that is just your ego messing with you
- Take care of your health
- Pursue your hobbies
- create memories
- steer clear of social media
- Everyone’s on a different path on their journey, so don’t compare and don’t try to merge the path of your journey with someone else’s.
- Engage in something that brings you joy.
