Annual sick week

It has now become a pattern that my body seems to be exhibiting. Every year I get sick badly to the point that I am forced into bed rest. Body pain, headache, chills. No it wasn’t Covid-19 or FLU - tested negative for both.

A repeated pattern stands to be a reminder that I should probably not be waiting for my body to remind me to give it a break.

And if my body giving me signs weren’t enough, a recent article on : medium scared the living shit out of me.

Reminder to:

  1. Take holidays
  2. You aren’t the cog that keeps the company moving - that is just your ego messing with you
  3. Take care of your health
  4. Pursue your hobbies
  5. create memories
  6. steer clear of social media
  7. Everyone’s on a different path on their journey, so don’t compare and don’t try to merge the path of your journey with someone else’s.
  8. Engage in something that brings you joy.
