The social media circles I hangout in seem to be going crazy about Apple bringing back the glowing Apple logo. Disregarding the crazy price tag, the unnecessary touch screen.
Lets start with this:
It took me a while to realize that I wasn’t looking at a broken display and that it was a wallpaper. Who thought that this was a good idea for a wallpaper 🤷♂️.
I attribute the broken screen wallpaper to my reddit feed being filled with posts of fold gate.
The obvious question, do “pro” users really need touch screen? All the content creators I hope are using a bigger screen to do their creative work. As a developer and even as a regular laptop user I never fancied touch screens. I can’t think of why any developer would want touch screen.
Has innovation come down to stirring up nostalgia in people?
