Google analytics fail
One of the things that I recently noticed with the Google analytics is that it takes into account views from localhost. Not sure why, but I thought the Google analytics would be more intelligent about it.
This matters, because the localhost(preview) views get counted and I am not really sure if the viewership is self or if I actually have visitors to this blog :P
Deep Work by Cal Newport
I finished reading Deep Work by Cal Newport. Oddly took longer than I expected to finish the book. Would have taken much longer had it not been the compulsion of having to return the book back to library.
Pro tip: Borrowing books from library forces you to finish reading books.
And having to return the book within a stipulated time forced me to finish the book which without compulsion might have take another week to get through. Because the library has been auto-renewing my other book “Lincoln highway” I have been kind of slow to read that book. I might just return it at this point and borrow it another time perhaps.
A trip to Disney(CA)
Earlier this week, we planned a trip to disney so we could get in before our son turned 3 at which point you need to get an entry ticket.
Our son really enjoyed Disney, which was really a surprise to us as we didn’t expect that he would enjoy the rides the way he did.
If someone asked for advice then - it depends.
Following U.S elections
I don’t know if it is part of the adulting or growing older. But I have found interest in U.S elections and polictics.
