iPhone 16e

The rumors of a new Apple mini got me excited, while I knew that it wouldn’t have pro specs for me to swap out my 16 pro. Nevertheless I was tempted at the prospect of a new iPhone mini. I am sucker for compact sizes that way :). I dream of a pro spec ipad mini, iPhone mini, pro 13 inch mac or even better 12 inch pro. I used[^1] to love the planck for the same reason, but I digress.

Apple decided not to resurrect mini and instead introduced iphone 16e. The screen size only slightly smaller than the 16 at 6.1 inches. And with that I end this blogpost :) j/k.

It seems like 6 inch is now the smallest/default screen size on decent budget smart phones :sob: . And if you want something smaller then you are looking at the foldable phones.

Does this mark the end of small screen sizes on smartphones? (that aren’t foldables)

Beats Powerbeats pro 2

I had been waiting for this one to do an impulse purchase. But despite all the tech reviewers giving it a thumbs up, the customer ratings so far on various platforms(Amazon, Bestbuy, Target) has been very disappointing to read preventing me from pulling the trigger.

And even though I fear the airpods pro 2 falling out during my jogs/running sessions I don’t know yet if I should be splurging on the powerbeats pro 2.

All the reviewers picked up the electric orange color while I had my eyes on the hyper purple or quick sand.

I am going to hold out for these to drop in price.
