Happy 4th of July!

Dead on arrival deals day!

It feels like there’s always some sort of sale happening, to the point where they no longer feel like great deals.

I got a notification advertising $500 off the Sony a7 IV, only to find that the body was priced at $1,999—which has been its standard price ever since its successor was released. So what exactly is the deal? Other than false advertising, not much.

This seems to be the trend with most “deals” lately. As a consumer, you often have a better chance of finding genuine discounts on a random day than during one of these so-called sale events—Black Friday, Prime Day, Cyber Monday, Presidents’ Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and so on.

These sale days are often just existing prices or old discounts dressed up with a flashy sale tag.

Continuing my search for split keyboard

I am still looking for a split keyboard, the ideal one being this https://keeeyboard.com/. Planck layout I love but a split keyboard.

Revisiting Moonlander for lack of good options1.
